Welcome over here, I’m Hélène

🥰

Are you travelling with your dog and finding that certain places are off-limits to you? Are you missing out on visits? Are you looking for ways to arrange dog-sitting? Then you’ve come to the right place!

I also travel with my dog and face these kinds of difficulties. That’s why I set up Giver’Niche, the dog-sitting service in Giverny, which will allow you to visit the Monet Gardens and the Museum of Impressionism with complete peace of mind!

The story of Giver'Niche... 📖

Bejovi, a cocker spaniel who was 10 months old at the time, turned up at my house one day, out of the blue. He was my very first dog 🐕, but I soon realised he was suffering from separation anxiety. So I had to take him with me on most of my outings. And that’s when things got complicated: museums, castles, churches, shops, parks – some tourist attractions don’t allow our canine friends. Resigned to the situation, I either don’t visit at all or alternate between visiting on my own and taking him with me.

And then I moved to Giverny 🌺, home to Monet’s Gardens and the Musée des Impressionnismes – major tourist attractions in Normandy, attracting 900,000 visitors a year. Dogs aren’t allowed…

As a villager, I saw dogs waiting in cars and people standing at the entrances to attractions, waiting for the rest of their families to finish their visits. And I noticed more and more dogs and people on the streets.

In light of this, I initially launched a dog-walking service in 2023 and 2024, which had to close down in 2025.

Building on this experience, and because demand is growing, I decided in 2026 to open up my grounds to welcome your dogs in a secure area, so that you can enjoy a peaceful visit to the sights of this beautiful, flower-filled village 🌼.
